Caritas

Caritas meets every Tuesday 9.30 am -12 noon in The Centre.

This is a drop in opportunity that’s open to any members of the community who, over a cuppa, and if you feel like it, can chat through any problems, worries, or concerns you may have.

Caritas, which actually means ‘Christian love of humankind’ is a new social action and social justice agency that was founded by the Catholic Diocese of Shrewsbury.

The agency encompasses the work of the former Catholic Children’s Society, and it can support individuals and families in many ways, including intergenerational work, young people at the risk of becoming homeless, accessible community hubs and work with those seeking refuge and asylum.
