Parking
The church is blessed with two car parking areas.
The Church Square car park, and the car park behind The Centre, are private car parks owned by the church. The public may use them but entirely at their own risk.
The intention is that those who are using the church buildings are able to park in the Car Parks.
Parking is on a first come, first served basis for those who are attending an event.
The Church reserves the right to close the car park without notice.
The car park can be closed at any time. It will be closed on occasion of a wedding, or a funeral, and people are asked not to remove bollards or untie gates in order to access a space.
It may be easier for you to use the public car park off Allport Lane. This usually has space and is a short walk from the church.
Booking the buildings adjacent to the car park does not give any right to park in the car park.
Local storekeepers, tradesmen and other workers are asked not to park all day, unless by specific arrangement with the Rector or Churchwarden.
Nobody should leave a vehicle in the car park overnight, without permission of the Rector or Churchwardens.
Please do not park in areas marked with yellow lines, or in areas marked for residents only.
